The South Pacific tradition behind the pour
Kava is a traditional botanical drink made from kava root. At Black Klover, it is served in shells and kava-forward drinks as a social ritual. Here is what a first round looks like.
What to expect at the bar
Black Klover serves noble kava roots from Vanuatu, including Vanuatu Premium and smooth, pale White Sand.
Traditional kava is water prepared and served in metal shells as single 5 oz, double 10 oz, or triple 15 oz pours.
“Bula” opens the round. Your Kavatender guides the pour, and the rest is a shared pause built around conversation rather than alcohol.
Effects vary by person. Tell a Kavatender what you enjoy and ask about ingredients, origin, and responsible serving guidance.
Signature pours
Bright spirits. Zero proof.
The ritual is shared. The pour is personal. Choose a dragon fruit Kavalixir or a fruit-forward SpecialTea, then raise a cup to the friends you came with and the ones you just met.

Built by best friends · Fort Lauderdale, 2022
Brothers and best friends Guy and Zach opened the first Black Klover bar in Fort Lauderdale in 2022. They built its bar top as a tribute to the late parents who motivated them; a plaque at the front keeps that legacy inside the room as Klover continues to grow.
